this hat is reported as ddr post hat in many web site but in the book authored by Wilhelm Zoller entitled KOPFBEDECKUNGEN militarisch uniformierter Organisationen in Europa DEUTSCHE DEMODRATISCHE REPUBLIK 1945-1990 it is reported as a later version Wasserwirtschaft of the hat below

is that true? is it possible to see a cap of DDR post?

Klaus Walther, in addition to having two publications on uniform accoutrements of the DDR NVA and MdI, also has a publication on the Wasserwirtschaft. If this is an area of collecting interest, then I would strongly urge acquisition of a copy of this publication, which will most definitely answer the question regarding the two hats in question. It can be found for auction from time to time, on German ebay.
