Black Soviet SSh helmet w/painted guards badge...

I've never seen a black SSh helmet before with a guards badge on the front I was wondering if anyone else has. It was in an auction lot of 3 helmets recently.
These are the only pictures available.

My guess is a sort of OPFOR helmet?

Never seen one like this, also not in my Guards books. I also tend to believe it's a fantasy piece. Nicely done though but still fantasty I think.

Not a fan of the paint job, but I would like to have seen the liner. A legit liner lends itself to a more possibilities while a bad one tells you the whole thing is bogus. I believe that is a decal on the front.

...unless you've seen it in person and know it to be painted, in which case I would have to agree it is nicely done.
