New Addition - Order of the Red Banner

    Hi guys,

Would like to show my latest addition, nicely preserved Order of the Red Banner. Nicely marked on the reverse 192277. It was the Order of the Red Banner that sparked my interested in Russian medals and orders, just a great design and deep red colors. I am happy to finally add what I think is a nice representative example to my collection. Hope you guys like it as much as I do.

    Thanks for looking.

    Tom

A very nice worn ORB with its original suspension and ribbon. Awarded either very late 1944 or early 1945. A beauty and I am curious to see this researched. Could bring forth interesting results

Hi Tom, little by little you are filling the gaps. Nice order, Just check these scratches on the back to see if they were not made intentionally to hide a N alternation or some other mischief

That’s cool Tom. I’d like to hear the story behind it too Got a red star with research. Always neat to know the story. I went to Russia twice in the 90’s. Wish I had bought a lot more stuff when I was there. Отлично!
