    Identification military decorations.

    Hello,

What are the military medals on this uniform?

    Thank you.

Here's all the ribbons where you can find them yourself. Quickest way to learn

The black cloth beneath the ribbon bar makes me wonder if this ribbon bar was originally on this uniform. The badges are also puzzling as I would expect a white academy rhombus rather than the military school badge.

I wondered about that as well.
          Thanks,

Doesn't make real sense to me.
            20 & 30 Ann. Victory in GPW, (65&75) Victory over Japan (45)

            Then 40 & 50 Jears of the Forces. (57&67).
Means to me that he was in the Forces for at least 30 Yrs. and the the Faithfull Service Medal for at least 15 Yrs, but not for at least 20?

As I interpret this bar, he served against Japan, then was not in service for some time, then back in service again to earn the 1957 anniversary medal.

The 10 years medal is missing, not sure why, yet he earned the 15 years medal sometime around 1957-1960 and then the 20 years of service medal some five years after that. This would give that he may have been wounded, in education or whatever outside the army for a few years after the war, otherwise he would have earned the 1948 medal for 30th anniversary of the armed forces as well.

The Order of Red Star could in this case be a long service decoration as well, if given as such prior to the Veteran of Armed forces was introduced in 1974.

It is in cases like this it would have been amazing to have the person around to ask about his life. If he did ever exist.
