New Pick ups - Victory over Japan & Germany

    Hi guys,

Here are two recent additions. This my first Victory over Japan medal, has a single piece brass suspension with newer ribbon and uncut ring. The medal itself is nice with round wire loop at the top and remnants of polsihing paste in the recesses which I like to see.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Also picked up this nice Victory over Germany medal. I had one already, but this one seems a little nicer with 2 piece brass suspension and possibly original ribbon. The medal has polished highlights and overall looks like a nice worn example.

Hope you guys like them as much as I do

    Thanks

    Tom

Two nice new additions. I especially like the Germany medal since it is in its original condition as you say with uncut connecting ring, original suspension and original ribbon. It shows real character!
Th Japan medal has indeed new ribbon but also the suspension is a replacement. See how the connecting ring has been bend open and close again without getting it matching tip to tip anymore. But as said before, that happened all the time. The medal itself is in lovely worn condition with beautiful patina.

Thomas, I see your collection continues to expand. I am glad to see it.
