    Hi. I found this chapka this morning at the flea market. Dated 1988. I suppose it is standart pattern for enlisted men?

      It is a winter cap for officers of the Soviet Army. Now apparently the cap is worn in the Ukrainian Army.

          Correctly this winter cap is called "ushanka". Unfortunately, this word cannot be translated into a foreign language.
          Here are a few examples of wearing a winter cap by Soviet Army officers
