    russian flag?

    Hello gents, what about this flag? it came from the same collection as the general uniforms I have posted. Do you what this one was used for?

    Last picture shows it is dated 1990. Not sure where these were used. Haven't seen this type before.

      A Soviet Navy bow jack flag, that has seen better days.
      ......OFW

      (below) "Soviet naval jack flies from the bow of the Slava
      class
      guided missile cruiser MARSHAL USTINOV as the ship
      ties up in
      port. The MARSHAL USTINOV is one of three Soviet
      vessels in Mayport for a four-day goodwill visit."
      July 1991.

            That is not salty anymore. This is eaten by mice I guess. A pity because it is a nice flag, just ruined unfortunately.
