Ron, seems we're pretty close in terms of serial numbers. Do you remember where and when you got yours? My records show I got mine in January of 2002, via the internet probably from a dealer in NYC/NJ.

Only having research done on it will tell for sure.
The ORB's serial number falls within a bunch given to the 1st Belorussian Front in May of 1945.

Right! But almost 100% either 69 army or 5 Shock army, 1 Belorussian front.
