Original wartime shell. The liner and chinstrap are postwar replacements and the star is a fake in my opinion.

I like what I see, I think this helmet all good.
the chinstrap is good because it is fixed with rivets as before 1945.
I think the liner is good too.
the star I like, but I'm not sure.

I actually agree with that it is all original except not sure on star. I compared this to Soviet-helmets.com and it seems to line up with all the examples on that site. If you want info on ssh helmets it is a pretty good website. I am just comparing the helmet components and it seems to line up. Hopefully it is real.

Yes the stamp is a fake, but we will not blame the forger

Yes I know it was told fake by 2 people. That doesn't mean that they are always right. I don't think to base judgement on 2 opinions is fair as People can be wrong. I am not saying it is real as I am hoping to get a bunch of replys and opinions. I do not know a lot about these and I am asking for help I was comparing to one info site and it seemed correct comparing to it. As well as another member liked what he saw.

ok this helmet is fake, I found it well though, but I do not know enough yet.
