It's a medal from the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Navy. Reverse side is "Baltic Fleet Commander". I think it is merely a unit medallion.

No, it is a desktop medal. The medal belongs to the modern Russian military fleet

What's the size of it?
The US Challenge Coins System got copied widely by foreign Nations, so why not from the Russians too?
