    Stalingrad Medal

    Hi all

Medals are not my speciality so I'm unsure if this is a good one or not ? I think it is

    Any thoughts would be welcome.

    Thanks Darren

    Hey Darren,
To me it looks good. Almost identical to mine. Mine appears to have a slightly different way of attaching the pin. Pictured (with the award document) so you can compare.

slightly different way of attaching the pin.
Many different suspension types made by the USSR. These two are less common.
I've rotated the pictures for ease of viewing. In the future please present images aligned correctly if you want any informed content. It's not that difficult to do.

The medal that started the thread is a good one with replaced ribbon (very common).

And as Eric says: show straight on pics from these medals. Stylish shots in different angles don't help to get good opinions. Another important thing is a good shot of the connecting ring

            Hi

Any one know of a good site that sells the Stalingrad Award document as it would be nice to add one to my collection. Or do any of you guys have one for sale to a Stalingrad fighter ?

            cheers

            Darren

That's an verage price for these and when looking for documents you will find a lot original ones on Ebay for very good prices. There are some dealers who will sell these as well though prices are often double or more than those on Ebay.

                Thanks Marcel

Problem is I wouldn't know if one was good or not. I would be very grateful if someone send me a PM and pointed me to one on Ebay which was good. Preferably a ground fighter.

I know its a lot to ask but I would be very grateful. Also is it safe to use Paypal on Ebay as the ones Ive seen are for sale in Russia ?
