any sites on chinnes korean medals?

any body know of any good sites that give good pictures of chinnese medals (or korean) cos i need to id a medal i have BUT i dont have a scanner or camera to post pics with
any help would be sweet!

has two books with pictures. Alas, the text is in Chinese for both, with VERY peculiar "Translation" sheets for one of them.

There is one on North Korean awards--he has that too, which is very basic-- but there ain't nuthin' else!

OMSA has produced a basic but quite comprehensive booklet on North Korean medals. In addition, there are 2 major works on 20th century Chinese medals-one a small paperback booklet a la' Durovs' booklet on russian medals (and the other a McDaniel and Schmitt type volume produced by the Beijing Army Museum and the Chinese military Historians Association. These are expensive (@$55) BUT worth it! The Quartermaster's Shoppe (on e-bay) in Hong Kong supplies a basic transaltion list/booklet with each book, but the Chinese is EASY to translate. I had 3 years of standard Chinese and can get through 90% of it; the finer points are easily translated by other Chinese collectors/historians. My friend Dave Graff (ed. "A Military History of China") tarnslated the rest of it and can send pages to you.

p.s. ooops-sorry rick, i should have looked at the collect russia site first. these are the books. There is however a volume 2 covering only KMT and warlord medals. its rare now-actuaaly both volumes are.
