Hi Gerd,

Is that enamel in the center that fingernail polish looking stuff that the DDR used on their later awards? I found an earlier Czech made version of this award with a small screw-back on eBay but was outbidded on it at the last few seconds.

Hi John,

the red stuff seems to be enamel, but the blue looks much more dull compared to the red, so i guess, the red is enamel and the blue is the cheap stuff, you mentioned.

I am also looking for a Czech made screwback 2nd class.
