    Unknown WWII Anti-Aircraft/Chemical Warfare Badge?

I got this badge with some US military insignia, and I have no idea what it is. I believe it has something to do with anti-aircraft or chemical warfare. Can anyone tell me what this badge is, if it is from WWII or not, and what the "2" at the bottom of the badge means? Any help is appreciated!

Exactly what you think it is. Number 1552 in Avers 8 for reference. It's a badge for "ОСОАВАХИМ" (Osoaviakhim). 'Ready for aircraft and chemical defense' is, I think, the loose translation /meaning. Dating from 1939 to 1941!
I think we all agree that the numbers on the badges such as these mean 'step' or 'degree' as opposed to 'class' so this would be an award for an advanced trainee.

Not *super* rare but not common either. Looks to be all original with it's serial numbered and maker marked screw plate. Nice badge!
    Thanks,
