    Adrian,

I would'nt say for sure, regarding the poor quality of the pics.
What is sure is that this Umalatova order is not rare at all (value : around 25 US$) and can be found easily.
What is intrigating is the Serial Number on the back. Is there a booklet (card) with it ? Or is this SN just added by the seller for increasing the price ?
Last point : as far as today, these medals are not faked... being themselves unofficial.

Christophe is right, The Order of Stalin was one of the many Umalatova medals released. It can be found easily, along with the other medals in the collection. When I got my 80th Aniversary of the October Revolution Medal, there was a booklet that came with it, stammped and signed by a machine. The medals are not fakes, yet they are unofficial. To be honest, I have no clue how people are able to "wear" the medals, but I have seen them worn in photos.
