Does anybody know where I can get a Yugoslavian helmet other than trident militaria?

Maybe I can help you with some info because I'm from Serbia (Former Yugoslavian Republic, I believe you already know), but you must tell me what exactly are you looking for. By the way, what does "Trident Militaria" mean?

Mine came via eBay. I saw one at SOS last week but I don't know the dealer.

Peter If your helmet came Canada, you're probably the so-n'-so that out bid me!

Oh well is fare in love and Ebay. But that is the exact helmet I'm looking for. I don't want to pay $60 for it from trident.

They may be imported to the U.S. in a couple of years though Sportsman's Guide or Cheaperthandirt.com

I've had this for a little while. I believe I paid $100 for this helmet and a Hungarian M71 together. I think $60 would be a fair price for these at this point.

Thanks for reminding me Besian, reply sent.

Well as far as the helmet goes, I have lost 2 auctions on ebay trying to score one. I always seem to be away from the house when the aucion ends and I get out bid by a paltry $.50!

I have seen the kevlar versions on ebay too. They either have a serbian or croat sticker on the front. I'm partial to the old steel veriety though.

You ought to see what those Dutch/Romanian helmets go for!

I have one of those Kevlar ones too. I just like helmets. And you don't need to tell me what the Romanian helmets cost. I have the gray version in mint unissued condition. That is with the remounted German liner, and I have a pretty nice green helmet with the King Carol crest. That was a beast to find and I'd still like to upgrade. I check eBay several times a week. I'd pay $1000+ for a really, really nice one however.

These international helmets were cheap as dirt when I started collecting 25 years ago and now they are getting up there. I'm glad I have what I have. I still need...oh about another 1000 or so helmets! Something to do for the next 25 years.
