SVT Bayonet

I have been looking to purchase an WWII SVT bayonet. Does this one look sound, by that I mean I understand that many were re-conditioned after WWII. Are there ways to tell if the bayonet as been post war arsenal reworked? Does that make a big difference in collectibility or are most of these re-blued etc.? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Zach

Yes... the blade will not be blued for starters. Electric pencil marked serial numbers are also a rework trait. Most on the market are reworked, and an original, non-rework can command 3-4 times the price of a rework.
