No, its not. Infantry used a magenta band...also, the buttons are not right. Might be Bulgarian with a soviet cap badge.

No, this hat is not correct...

While similar, this hat appears to be some sort of Eastern Bloc hat with a Soviet officer's star added. It's probably Bulgarian, the seller's home country... The Chin Strap buttons are not Soviet and the entire hat just doesn't quite look right

as i said above, i think its probably Bulgarian without a cap badge, so they added the soviet badge. I advised a client to buiy it if it stayed under $75, which it did not.
