What do I have? German Ushanka?

Picket this up and have never seen a Ushanka M1940 with this type of lining. Came as shown with the german insignia. Any help is appreciated.

Any indications of the eagle&swaz being present at some point?

If you're lucky this is an original Soviet cap, captured and pressed into service by the Wehrmacht.
If not it's a made-up fantasy piece. Not expert enough to recognize Soviet cloth, sorry.

The lining is not like the typical ushankas that I know. Could be a variation but I don't know enough about such variations to give conclusive answers.
