                      This sidecap made of right wartime fabric.
                      But the same fabric also used postwar time.
                      Here is picture of postwar sidecap made of same fabric.
                      Duble stamp looks strange for me.

                        FYI the cap in question has a clear 1940 date stamp. If authentic it would be fairly rare and be worth in the region of 10 times what 80s surplus caps bring.

                              There was a wartime dated one on estand not too long ago that was about £150 if I recall correctly?
