    Wartime RDG33 grenade pouch?

    Hello gentlemen,

I picked up this, what I believe, original wartime RDG33 grenade pouch. Hard to read the stamp, even after making the cloth wet, though I believe to read 1941. On the left bottom of the stamp it says No 21. (if this helps?).
The material looks good to me as well. I just have a bit of doubt now on the closing button and leather strap because I didn't come across this kind of closing in any of my books nor did I find anything online. Hope you guys can enlighten me a bit here

Is it true that this type of closure strap and button is typical for the pouches used by the Chinese after WW2 (bought from the Russian stock leftovers after the war)?

The strap and button is Soviet wartime.
I have wartime universal Nagan/TT holster with same strap and button.

Thanks a lot. Funny to see that some consider these as postwar altered pouches for the Chinese market while indeed on the holster the exact same strap and button is used. This is great news
