    Soviet Tinnies???

They made Soviet tinnies?!?!??? Must... resist... Can't stop myself... must acquire...

http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ad.php?t=11763 Now we can have a Tinnie Cold War.

The thing is, you don't show them, you just describe them...

Dan, I told you what they are over on the other forum, but as far as dating - pretty much impossible, there were thousands of different pins produced (it was a common practice for defense factories to also make pins or toys out of scrap metal left from producing weapons), I would say anytime from early 1970s to the fall of the Empire. As for the Yugoslavian one, no clue at all.

Upper left says "Kurgan of Glory". A kurgan is an ancient Scythian burial mound, but could just be translated as "hill". Bottom reads "Kramotorsk", probably a town or factory that had been awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (the award on the suspension). Upper right is not Soviet - maybe Czech, Polish, or Yugo.
