Hello,
I had quite a large WW2 Soviet collection about 10 years ago but let go of just about everything over the years. I was digging around and forgot I had this grouping.
These items belonged to Colonel Ivan Andreev, who Commanded the 270th Rifle regiment, 58th Rifle Division at the end of the war. I have a copy of his archives records that I have yet to translate and will add that info here as I get to it.
His first Order of the Red banner is interesting as it is the lowest number known, 79,826, to have been converted from screw back to suspension by the Moscow Mint.
