Russian Mosin Nagant sling - wartime original?

One more sling of which I have doubts of being original wartime. It's a Russian Mosin Nagant sling. As with my PPSH sling I always thought this would also be a postwar model but by coming across some identical slings in a book and on a well-respected dealer's website I started to doubt my own judgement.
This sling is in mint/near mint condition and is stamped. I am not familiar with these stamps so any help to identify this sling as being original wartime or post-war is very much appreciated.

    Thanks once more!!!!
    Marcel

    Issued with surplus rifles...

Just recently found this site doing some unrelated research:
    http://www.rollanet.org/~stacyw/russian_slings.htm

I don't know much about these, maybe the site will help you.

My guess would be original stock issued to surplus Soviet firearms being sold in many countries right now.

    Regards,

Thanks a lot. I did come across this page as well during my search on the web but this site didn't convince me enough with the provided info. What also brings questions are the stamps on my slings which both are not like period stamps that I have seen. Of course I haven't seen all possible stamps out there however these didn't seem right to me - that's however my gutfeeling and some more knowledgable opinions are therefor welcomed

        Nice Website!
Sadly they don't accept emails as I have many Slings - Pics for them of ones they don't have. If anybody knows them, let me know.

Perhaps you want to post them here as reference?

Are there any ink stamps on the canvas? The post war slings I have are ink stamped in Russian and dated inside the looped part of the canvas. Mine are late 40's-50's.

No stamps on the canvas. The only stamp is on the inside of the leather, shown in the first post....and that one is unreadable for me unfortunately.

Wartime Russian canvas slings have keepers that are stitched NOT riveted. They also have a tighter weave to canvas. Yours is post war.
