    Soviet OPW 1st Original?

When I fist look at this Order of Patriotic War 1, I thought it couldn't be original as it looks almost new. On the other hand, it look far better than any repro I have seen. Any thoughts?

What makes you think it's repro?
    It looks legit to me!

      I like it.

Like Lubo asked, why do you think it's a repro?

First, I want to thank both of you for your response.

The only reason I initially had a shadow of doubt was because, when I held this OPW in my hand, my first impression was that it looked too new. I understand that it is quite likely someone may have cleaned it up. But, also, it has very few scratches or signs of wear and tear, though I did find a few, especially on the hammer/sickle, using a jeweler's loop.

Other than that, it conforms to what you would expect in every way.

It could very well be cleaned, but I think that it is completely original. If it is a repro, we are a in a LOT of trouble here.

I've had several like this over the years. Absolutely flawless. I don't know how they stayed like this...even the ones I have handled to Americans showed more wear (and they pretty much stayed in their boxes!) Regardless, it's 100% right and correct.
