    I am really interested in this cap but I know NOTHING about Russian / Soviet militaria.

                      Hello,
                      I like it. It looks like original lendlease fabric, which gives it a good chance of being ww2 period made. I like the seller, I have emailed him at times before, to ask him questions about the Russian ww2 collecting hobby and he has always quickly replied. I think he's a knowledgeable and trustworthy seller, and everything I have seen on his site looks legitimate.
