Any opinions on these flags from these distance pics on whether or not they are good? The hollow star is interesting. It is of the 1944-1946 pattern of either Bosnia or Macedonia (I believe more so Bosnia as Macedonia looks more curved), so not sure why one would be made so much later, as it is obviously not that old. Let me know what you guys think. I think they are fine personally comparing to some others I have seen as well. Not even sure if there is any multipiece fakes of these flags?

Nice flags, no need to worry about authenticity, there were many flags in ex-yu produced. Every house had to have one, and punblic institutions even more
Yes, the star-only one is interesting, it should be Macedonia, but macedonian flag had the star in upper left corner, not in the middle. Maybe an early variant.
here's a small reference:

I'm glad you like it. It's worth to mention that Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro had their national flags (different variations of Slavic white, red and blue) since 19th century, Macedonia and Bosnia didn't, so they got their flags after WW2 only. Bosnia & Herzegovina was republic of three nations, so they got a flag that doesn't represent any nation, but rather incorporates common Yugolsav (state) flag. The same situation is with modern federal Bosnian flag which is artificially designed, not to resemble any national flag of three (troubled) nations.
