    Soviet Navy Patch question

    Forgot what it means, but for what are the different Border Colours Red and Yellow like here.
    Was it Service and Parade?

      Last for today.
      what is this? Can't find it in the Regulation.
      No Anchor Rope, so it isn't Naval Infantry, right?
      Does it has to do with coastal Units like in other Countries?

        The red circle is for enlisted men and the yellow is for officers and would be seen on parade uniforms.
        I think these were made before the fall of the ussr.

          Tried to translate the Regulation and it say's yellow Circle for 2Star WO's and Re-enlisted Starshi Sergeant & Starshina.
          Higher Ranks (Officers) won't wear them and lower Ranks stay at the red ones.
          Maybe Kommandir can clarify a bit more.

            Order No. 250 from 04.03.1988 G. Minister of Defense USSR :warrant officers and enlisted at the rank of chief ship petty officer(petty officer) and chief petty officer(senior Sergeant) -circle of Golden color.Anchor without rope-storekeeper(warehouse)
            Marine corps shoulder sleeve insignia(the state)marine corps and worn by officers.
