    question about ppsh 41-43

    hello guys

    i have an question, i gone make an german combat polizei mannequin,,, i now they used a lot of ,,beute waffen,,are there pictures that they also used ppsh 43 weapen in combat, i find only pictures with model 41

    PPS43 not seem to be captured or used in large quantities by Germans during war, probably because it appear so late. Photos are rare. btw it is PPS43 and Ppsh41, because named after different designers (Sudajev and Shpagin).

        Some trivia information. German designations are:

        PPSh-41 = MP 717(r)
        PPS-43 = MP 719(r)

        Both were predominately used on the Eastern Front, but they also were seen on other fronts when units were shifted from the Eastern Front. Many MP 717(r) were rechambered to fire 9mm.

        I am always happy to exercise my obscure reference materials

          I remember Henrik Rask had many photos from Germans using the PPSh41 and PPSh43 on his website.

              PPSH reissued by German forces in original caliber - MP717(r)

              PPSH reissued and converted to 9mm- MP41(r)
