    Medal ID

Does anyone know if this is a WW2 era medal and what was it for? Any information would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

It's in Belarussian and says "Belorussian Socialistic Soviet Republic" on the bottom.

Edit: the words on top are strange though because the letter S is used which is not used in Belarussian alphabet. The letters BSBR are also puzzling in the right top corner.

Ok, figured it out after some research. It's the Belarussian order of labour. On the bottom it says in Belarussian "Belorussian Socialistic Soviet Republic".

Together with Belarussian also Polish and Jiddish were official languages and therefor on the left top corner text in Jiddish and the right top corner in Polish.

It's from the 1920's and not that many were awarded. Yours looks like a fake because of the bad details compared to the originals as well as a completely different backside.

On top it should also say BSRR and not BSBR as on your badge. This specific one has been discussed in Russia already as being a very bad fake originating from China.

        Hope this helps.

And one more sign of this one being really bad: on the left side the fakers forgot to cut away a part above the flagpole (picture below is of an original).

            reminds me...

It reminds me of those fake Chinese badges/awards you see on the 'big auction site'.
