    Hungarian Switchboard?

    Hello all,

I purchased this switchboard a few days ago. As best as I can tell it is a Hungarian military switchboard. Can anybody tell me any more about it? Era, the model phones that would of been used with it, etc? I don't care about value, just the provenance and era.

    Cheers!

Hello - can you post more photos of the label? I could try to translate it. Gut reaction is that its a 1970's - 1980's era.

When I have it in front of me in a week or so I will.

The only word I can read at the moment appears to be "Körözvény", which based on google translate is "circular" in Hungarian, hence my belief that its Hungarian. I just cannot find anything on Hungarian military comm equipment, period.

Certainly is Hungarian. Körözvény in this instance is more akin to "loop". Look forward to the photos

Hi Eindecker, i appreciate the help.

Here are some pictures of the panel that came with it.

It has markings to a unit on the front of the panel as well.

Any idea how this might have ended up in the US? I cannot find anything on them on the internet, nor much Hungarian military communications equipment, period.

          Cheers from the US,

          Ben
