    Help with The Defense of Savastopol Medal.

    Help I got a few Russian Medals and need info on them. The Defense of Savastopol Medal.

    Can you be more specific in what you need help with? You got the title correct. The Sevastopol medal is fairly rare and is heavily faked. Roughly 52.5 thousand were awarded. What else can I help you with?

      Thank you for your interest. I would like to know if it and the others are fake. I got these with quite a few German badges. I am enclosing a few extra pictures. I lived in Germany around the time the wall fell and I remember the venders selling fake medals. I seem to think these are real but anyone can be fooled. Its weight is 28g.

        Visually it looks good to me despite the image quality. I can't find the correct weight anywhere within my reach at the moment. Should be 32mm in diameter.
        It has a nice early, 2-piece suspension.

        I can offer a specific forum for better help if needed.
