First helmet , post war Ssh 40, made in the 50's .

The second was supposed to be a US helmet, but neither the shell features itself nor the red star in the forehead part of the shell would fit to that ...

First is called SSh40M by many collectors, not an official name, just denoting the modernization.

Second helmet is Chinese, these are seen most times without chinstrap

Yes it is, vrey late 70's at least, and were used extensively in the Sino-Vietnamese war in the 80's
