I was able to get almost half of the awards photographed. Unfortunately, some families weren't really helpful so there were about a dozen that I located that I couldn't photograph. Photographing all of these (save for three) in person was quite an interesting adventure!!! I visited 112 families in 40 states...quite a trip.
I was initially told that the Brits didn't receive any awards from the Soviets. However, I have images from Pravda with listings of awards given to them. As far as tracking them down...yeah...I will leave that for someone else to write about.
