There are lots of pictures of modern Russian uniforms on TV. When did they go to this look? Also do the Ukrainians wear the same uniforms with different insignia?
I believe Digital Flora uniforms and gear came into service around 2008, and it took a while, for most units receiving it, to be completely decked out in new gear.
Ukrainians wear a derivative of Soviet TTsKO camouflage, and look far more "ghetto"
