Not an expert by far but have seen and purchased a few at some bazzars in Afghanistan and think this piece is more Afghan or like Turkistan or lower region of Russia area related. I do like the edge weapons from these regions and it opened new territory for my collecting mind as I usually always collected American, German and Japanese from WW2. TPK
