Mystery Soviet Military or Warsaw Pact Shirt

I originally posted this on the WAF DDR forum, but it may be more appropriate here. I recently acquired this pullover shirt with an East German Deutsche Grenzpolizei uniform and early East German Army hat. I've never seen one like it before, can any of you identify it as an early Soviet shirt?

It's a mint green color, with somewhat rough cloth, like twill. There are no markings on the shirt other than a small white size tag on the collar with the size 41 in red. It's stained in some places, but is clean. The shirt looked like it was rolled up into a ball and stuffed in a bag. So I ironed it so that you can better see how it should look.

It's unusual because it's a pullover shirt and it has two loops on each shoulder which appear to be for attaching shoulder boards. However I've put an early NVA infantry shoulder board on the uniform and it's not long enough to go thru both loops. It's really reminiscent of WWII Soviet shirts and their shoulder boards would probably fit on it. So possibly Soviet or very early hand-me-downs to the DDR?

    Here are a few photos.

And the after ironing photos -

With the too short early NVA shoulder board -

With a 1980s Soviet shoulderboard, it's right about the right length to fit through both of the loops.-
