                Hi Glenn,

Here are the few I have. First are two id documents to BARTKOV, Leontij Porfir'evich on active duty holding the rank of a "Military Jurist 3rd Class" and serving as an "Assistant to the Military Prosecutor".

                ...

Here is an interesting one. Issued by "Department of Correctional Labour Camps of the UNKVD of the Khar'kov Oblast'" to ANTONENKO, Grigorij Vasil'evich on active duty as an "Inspector of the Compact Group of the Gor Bir".

No clue what gor bir means And what exactly did the compact groups do

Hello. I'm just resurrecting this thread as a friend is interested in buying the OGPU ID from me and would appreciate any further comments about the pass. Not my main area of collecting but still have it after all these years as I've always been quite fond of it.
                        All the best,
                        Glenn.

                          IDs

My only advice is to avoid ebay for these, huge numbers of fakes (one seller, who starts with a 'Z' is notorious) coming out....
