Regarding a paint scheme (if you want to deviate from the Bulgarian theme) you can draw some imspiration from this thread!

Hello, with some relief and regret we closed out the deal on the 124 and its back up for sale. It was a bit to much overall for me and some things came out after the buy. Still a great jet to see. Now Im looking for a F-14 Tomcat. Best, Bill

That's too bad but yes, the headaches could easily outweigh the benefits of being a MiG owner. She sure is a sharp looking little bird though.

Thanks for the heads up and sorry to read that it did not work out.

Hi Bill, I'm a bit too late on the thread, as always, but to answer your question : ATECTAT - in the given example means a log for recording the periodical technical check ups of the given engine!
Too bad you didn't buy it!

Greetings all. The Bulgarian Mig was in hundreds of pieces stretched across two states. This one was in four pieces and is unchanged, altered or converted in any way since issued in 1958. Its mine now after a cross country delivery and we set up at a small rural Airport a few miles from me a few weeks ago. Its a 1958 Mig 17F, Lim-5 with afterburner and flew its entire life for the Polish Airforce. It was built in Poland and mustered out in 1990. Here are pics in no particular order. The 1301. We were able to start it up and idle for 3 minutes and used up 18 gallons of fuel, yikes. Best, Bill Bourque

Hello, what made it even better was the flyover by a B17, B24 and P51 Mustang that flew over head during assembly. Bill

Greetings all. I had a lot of difficulty getting a shipper for transport from Florida to California. From out of the blue the A&E TV show Shipping Wars called and told me they could deliver in 2 weeks and they did. It will be on TV this tuesday june 10th for all to see. Except Im 6000 miles away in New Zealand and will miss until I arrive home late next week. Please feel free to make fun of me while Im gone and remember its TV with added drama. Go All BLACKS. Best.
