      Lee and Doug,

Obviouisly I collect toward a different era and different country, but it does not take a "Rocket Scientist" to comprehend how unique this and the other 1943 General of the Army Parade Tunics are. The two 1943 Tunics you posted are super. Is the Border Guard General Tunic also a parade tunic? It has a collar similar to the other General's Tunic is why I ask. The Border Guard Tunic Cuffs are something else. Change out the shoulder boards, and I swear this would be something reminiscent of the Napoleanic era.
Very special and very impressive (both tunics).

        tunics

Both tunics are M1943 parade ( though the Border Troops general looks like M1945, it is M1943).

I amdit, it really does have an imperial look; the combination of the blue cloth and green piping.I hate giving it up, only have it for 48 more hours: (
