Flaming Torch Flagpole Finial Identification Request

    Gents:

Could anyone tell me anything about this flaming torch flagpole finial? It has a height of 10 inches and is made of heavy brass with a silvered finish, now dark with age.

    Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Best regards to all.

The Yugoslavs had some torches in some places.
Any maker's markings on it, at all?
        Thanks,

It does not look like any 'very known' official symbol.
In the communist bloc were more different organizations (youth, etc) which were used as a symbol of the flaming torch, but always quite differently styled (Yugoslavia, DDR, Romania, ..). But it can also be pre-war ancestor of these organizations, etc.

This may not even be a symbol of any political / communist organization, but only some home-made work for some small a local society/club.

And it's not only stylized Olympic torch? That hem/rim around does not look like a star, but the glow from the fire..

Not Yugoslav for shure. Yugoslav torches were 5 (5 nations) or 6 (six republics), never three.
