Who am I? Especially for Rick

And what am I wearing? And from what nice little source of biographical detail did I come?

      Marshals of the PLA Today?

By Mainland standards, these guys (under 80) are mere KIDS!

What you have here are photos and bios of all of the marshals and generals of the PLA who were awarded in 1955 their decorations for the wars against Japan and the Nationalists: http://english.pladaily.com.cn/speci...ures/index.htm

I notice that Lin Biao has no information. I suppose he has been rehabilitated somewhat, but perhaps not completely.

Ah! I assumed from the modern stars only in the first two portraits that they were "post Korea" vintage who didn't go back that far.

Apparently the local Civil War and Korean badges must have gone out of authorization at some point.

From yesterday's PLA Daily, here is 85 year old Yang Guoqun, visiting the soldiers of the Nanjing Military Area Command. She is wearing all of her awards but I have no idea what most of them are.

Ah! The one she is wearing bottom left is the Liao Xi Korean War medal that was my most recent find, posted here several weeks back:

                  http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...Chinese+Korean

The middle bottom one is the North China Liberation Medal, the one with the soldier clutching a Thompson machine gun in front of a red banner.

Could you write them a Letter To The Comrade Editor and suggest closer pictures?
