Hello, I am trying to collect russian ww2 period flight gear. I have learned enough to know these boots are russian flight boots. But I would like to know if they are ww2 period or postwar? So I wish to ask, is there anyway to know if they are ww2 period or postwar? Is there a way to tell ww2 period from postwar? I'm only asking because I only want to collect ww2 period. Thanks in advance.

Boots
Thank you gentlemen for your replies. I understand the metal fittings of wartime examples are galvanized. (I am looking for a pair of prewar or war time period boots, not post war). I believe sometimes the prewar or war time period fittings were made of chrome or maybe nickel. I will show some photos of some ww2 period Russian pilots or aircrew. The flying helmets they are wearing appears to have shiny fittings, so they are probably not galvanized. So, I believe sometimes the boot fittings during ww2 were not always galvanized.
