Today, I received a package in the mail. What I though I had won on Ebay turned out to be something else. A couple of weeks ago, I placed a bid on what I thought was a late issue DDR AK-74 bayonet with the red bakelite grips and scabbard, and when it arrived today, I discovered that it is not DDR (will still need to find one) but a Soviet AK blade with the Ishevsk stamp on the handle and scabbard. 
This auction was listed as an East German "knife". Usually, when I receive an Ebay surprise, it is the pits, but this time I'll be content with this one.
