Help translate russian

I have to items with some text I need to tranlate. Help would be great

and a old wooden item

The first one is hard to tell. May be its Balakovo - town name
The second: 1st line is - On watering
2nd - Stallions

1. looks like a last name of a maker: Bolakovo or something like that
2. "at the watering/drinking" and then underneath that the word which means horses (Koni), so it's horses at the watering hole

I think the first stamp shows the factory owner surname in old Russian.
Probably - Будановъ (Budanov)
