Bata was founded in 1894 in the austro-hungarian town of Zlin, later Czechoslovakia. Maybe this helps.

Strap looks like a british Shoulder Strap for the M37 Ptn. Webbing.
How does the back of the Carrier looks like. Any Stamps inside?

Another collector told me the carrier is from Belgium but post war.

But I have no idea about the canteen itself...

The ouch and canteen obviously do not match, I'm fairly sure that the pouch is Belgian postwar, meant for US style canteens, sometimes with different cap.

Strap I don't know, Belgium did use British style webbing though.

Canteen general shape looks like Hungarian or Yugo, but it's not, I would look in the direction of the other Eastern Block countries in that direction though

My guess would be a Czech or slovakian pre war or a czechoslovakian post war canteen.

It's a hard one...
