    Coin Identification Help Needed

I have the following coin and was looking for information on it.

    Thanks in advance!

Never saw it cased in the comemorative Versions Booklet.
It's a 1 Ruble Coin for the 30th Anniversary of the Great War, issued in 1975. I had several as "normal" Coins, used as regular money.
Looks like a Souvenir Issue of Mint Coins for Tourists or so.

uscob is completely right. Coin dealers who sell European coins as well as those from the US will frequently have one or two in their dollar boxes (for younger collectors to browse through).

I've seen other Soviet commemorative coins in similar rubber or plastic holders; the St. Petersburg Mint currently has a gift shop in the Peter and Paul Fortress and I can imagine them selling pre-packaged coins "back in the day" -- but I really don't know if they ever really had a similar retail outlet back then!

      Regards
