    Russian helmet polish made ?

    This helmet clearly is polish made in 1965 but was obtained from a
    guy that swore that it came out of a russian warehouse in the Baltics in the early nineties.

    So my question to the collecting community is :
    Do you think that it is possible that the CCCP bought helmets from Poland.

    Also of interrest is the meaning of the maker´s stamp as in my other thread.

          WZR could means "Wojskowe Zakłady Remontowe" - Army Renovation Factory - in Jarosław, small city in south-east Poland

          In my opinion stamps mean place and date of repair this helmet, not produce.
