Hi all
Just got this in a mixed bag of WW2 British items. I know it's the GTO sports badge but appears to be better quality than others I've seen. Spinner is maker marked and serial numbered but can a date of production be worked out from this?

Like you say, nice quality, and fairly heavy for a small badge, odd that it came with a load of WW2 Royal Engineers badges.
