Going for what, something like six bucks maybe, these days? But when have you ever seen one that looks like the day it came out of its box in 1946? -
I've always liked this medal, because only it and the Moscow 1947 Jubilee come in a copper finish, among all the bus-token brass stuff.

Yup, even the usual inverted "U" shaped suspension has been ever so carefully filed down before flashing the copper finish on to look like a true "ring"...
This little jewel may not be "worth" much but you know...
I know I'll be enjoying it for many, many years for just the way it is.

"Treasure" is the right word!
A superb example of that medal, a true gem !
Finding such pieces among the flotsam and jetsom is one of the great joys of collecting!
